Was a good week, ended over my imaginary comfy break even mark! Still see some remaining income coming in in the last few days of the month as well. We shall see if it exceeds last month though. Almost caught up with orders to date as well, so should make that goal.
With being caught up with orders (this can be a good and bad thing) I am able to put a bit more time to the websites. This week I bought a new one on flippa and it was the most I spent on a site to date. In hindsight I am a little worried I bought another dud since the seller reported barely any adsens income, but I felt it had potential. The site needed some rework but had a core of articles already written. Also this sites keywords have an exact search of 4,400 a month (highest of mine yet) and a adsense cost per click about $1.25. On top of all of that it was already ranking page 2 for its main keywords and page one on many other long tail keywords. So I hope to rework it, back link and get it up to page one. With increased traffic I hope it will make the purchase worth it. It will be a adsense and amazon site.
I also bought a couple other domain names and has started one of them already from scratch. The first has exact searches of 1,300 a month but adsense cost over $10 a click. Its targeting a brand as well so hope I don’t run afoul of them (hope not since Im promoting their products). Another is about the same searches but only .75 for adsense but it looks like a very easy keyword to rank for so going to give a shot.
The last one I got shows 6,600 exact searches and again adsense costs well over $10 but is a very competitive niche. It will be an easy site to set up so going to give at a shoot and see if I can get near the top. Just a few clicks a month would make me happy.
I also had a VA do some back linking on a couple sites to see how it does. If it works out I may have him do some more.
Thats my week, how did your week go? Time to go watch Thor now
